Advanced Rigging Level - 3 Training
This course covers lift planning, how to determine critical lifts, utilizing the teachings of the Intermediate – Rigging Level 2 course to calculate and choose the appropriate rigging for a critical lift. Eight-hour course that includes theory and practical. Prerequisite requires successful completion of Cranemasters Intermediate - Rigging Level 2.
Planning is the process of thinking regarding the activities required to achieve a desired goal.
Specific topics include:
- Examining the ASME P30.1 Standard (planning for load handling activities). 
- Review and discuss nine Load Handling Considerations to plan your lift. 
- Determining Standard and Critical lifts utilizing the nine load handling categories. 
- Personnel required and their Responsibilities. 
- Review Limitations of slings & hardware. 
- Review Sling Tensions. 
- Critical lift in class Group Exercise. 
- Completing a Lift Evaluation Form based on the ASME P30.1 standard. 
- Critical Lift Practical Assessment, identifying roles, determining plan, executing plan, and review.
